Coursework Website - Research

Research should contain 5-10 examples (Cover and Contents) which I like.
When together, think about relations with audience and representations. Analyse everything
List of 10-20 things which in spotted

Need to do this with websites as well

Look at how the websites and magazines converge with each other. How do they go together

Coursework Website - Planning

Coursework Website - Link

https://oysterboy02.wixsite.com/mysite

The link that works in the toolbar is "celebrity".
The top 10 Halloween films is a link to a YouTube video and the twitter log in button takes you to the twitter log in page.
On the ATLAS celebrity page, the link to the gallery of Alfie photos works and when you get onto the page you zoom out in order to view all of the photos

Coursework production - Research

Need quite a big range of examples of the type of media i am going to be producing.
Post links to the websites used for research
Make a list of codes and conventions in the genre chosen

Codes and conventions
·         Image – This image should reflect the audience and also the style of the magazine. The main image is usually a mid-shot and should reflect what some of the contents are about.
·         The name of the magazine is either clearly identifiable or clearly visible. More often than not the title will have an image slightly overlap it. This is to limit the amount of empty space on the cover.
·         The photographs will most likely have been shot in a studio, usually in a medium close up or mid shot.
·         There will be direct address from the front cover to the reader
·         The title will……. use a trademark or a unique font, Will usually be one or two words, fills the width of the cover, or Is in the top left corner of the page.
·         Buzz words such as “free” and “exclusive” which captures the reader’s attention and makes them want to buy the magazine.
·         Necessities such as the barcode, date and issue number
